This is Part 1 of a 3 part series about my recent trip to Egypt.

Today is all about the Taba Resort in Egypt which is located in the Sinai Peninsula. For those who don’t know Egypt is split into 2 areas divided by the Suez Canel.

Well a recent event in my life has got me thinking about my commitment to Canon.  The phrase "if anyone can Canon can" is starting to fade away.

I pre-ordered the new Canon 5D MKII with the promise that I would have mine in the first wave. After my good friend hassled the camera shop on an almost day to day basis I received a telephone call last week from the shop saying that "Canon have now confirmed delivery and teh camera should be with us either Friday or Monday"

Friday passed with no calls and then on Saturday they phoned "We had a delivery yesterday of one camera despite Canon saying we were getting two in stock, it turns out they sent the other camera to our other shop by mistake and they are sending back over here, unfortunately they have opened it up and tried it out"   Well you can image they lit my fuse and it started to burn!!!!!!

Today after checking a few websites for information I find Nikon have just announced a new camera "Nikon D3X" I must say it might be more money than the Canon and some would say less features but bells and whistles are not everything and I still can’t see myself using the HD movie mode.
